What we do...
Transition House serves homeless families with children, who are both capable and motivated to participate in a mandatory planning program leading to permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
We offer a safe, drug and alcohol free, family oriented environment where clients may stay up to 90 days. The length of stay is dependent upon adherence to house rules and to a personal plan to obtain income and housing.
How to get help
If you are in need of housing and want to receive shelter and services at Transition House’s Family Resident, please come to 434 E. Ortega St. on any Monday through Friday at 4:00 p.m. (no later than 4:30) for an initial assessment and a drug test.
