Support People, Not Parties!

Transition House’s Annual Help-a-Kid No-Ball directly supports homeless children living in our emergency shelter. By participating in No-Ball, you can make a critical difference in the lives of children without a place to call home.

What is No-Ball?

18 years ago, we made the decision to forego our annual gala event in order to streamline our fundraising efforts. With the No-Ball, we don’t hold an actual event. This eliminates the expense of throwing a party. Every dollar donated goes to where it is needed most—to support programs for the more than 200 children we serve each year.

Transition House’s programs for children

In addition to safe sleeping rooms and three healthy meals a day, we offer licensed infant daycare, tutoring for school-aged children, basic health care, childcare while parents attend evening classes, a literacy program, teen group sessions, and summer camp experiences.

How you can help

By purchasing a No-Ball Patron ticket for $350, or sponsorship of a child for $1,000, or by making a one-time donation, you will be supporting our essential programs for kids.
