ICC Staff

Gina Whitefoot – Director

I believe it is through the caring, trusting relationship of the teacher, that a child first connects with the environment and gains the confidence to explore and thrive. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from California Polytechnic State University and a Montessori Teaching Credential in early childhood education. I spent many years as a Montessori teacher, and then as a school Director. My time in the classroom is where I grew, gained experience, and discovered a passion for the youngest of learners. I am thrilled for the opportunity to continue my journey as Director at Mom’s ICC and work with families and staff to provide a safe and loving environment for your little one.

Natalie Robinson – Site Supervisor & Toddler Teacher

I was born and raised right here in Santa Barbara, California. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California (UCSB), as well as a Child Development Site Supervisor’s Permit. I started working for Transition House, here in the Infant Care Center, right after I graduated from UCSB in 2012. Mom’s ICC is a wonderful place, and I am so proud to be part of such a great team! Children are amazing, they can teach us a lot! I truly enjoy learning and growing with the wonderful children that attend school here! Welcome to the Mom’s ICC family!

Dulce Ramos – Toddler Teacher

I have been working here, at Mom’s Infant Care center, since 2013. Over the years, I have accrued a plethora of Early Childhood Education Courses and trainings that enrich my career, as well as my person. What drives me as a caregiver is the opportunity to be a positive factor in these young and developing minds and working together with families to best aid in this healthy growth. I am honored to be part of the Transition House staff and am very pleased to serve all the families that we get to partner with. Thank you for your time and efforts as we do appreciate you!

Wendy Alvarez – Toddler Teacher

I am super excited to be a part of Mom’s ICC! I am currently attending Santa Barbara City College as an Early Childhood Education major and I hope to continue my education. I have always loved working with children and seeing them achieve milestones. We can gain a lot from their young minds and I look forward to continue to learn and grow!

Schauna Hartman – Infant Teacher

I’ve been in early childhood education for 20 years. I have my degree in early childhood education which I finished in 2020 speciality in Infants, and Toddlers I have worked with children ages 3 weeks to 6 years. I love every minute of it. Watching a child learn something for the first time or exploring something that have done in the past and trying it again. I knew from a young age I wanted to impact the lives of young children. I am excited to be joining the team at ICC and meet the new children we will be working with.

Shaba Ejimofor- Infant Teacher

I am so extremely excited to start my teaching journey, here at Moms ICC. Being an infant teacher is such an honor. I feel so delighted to be able to care for them. With this young age group, it is so amazing to see them hit milestones. It is very special to get to witness their growth and development. Their smiles brighten my day. Their laughs fill my heart with joy.

Chloe Schutza – Infant Care Rover Teacher

I recently moved to Santa Barbara and am taking courses at the City College to further my educational goals. I have always had a love for children. I grew up watching my mom operate her own daycare so being around them has always been a part of my life. I’m very grateful to have this as my job and that I get to watch all the growth and be a part of these children’s lives.
