Gina Whitefoot – Director
I believe it is through the caring, trusting relationship of the teacher, that a child first connects with the environment and gains the confidence to explore and thrive.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from California Polytechnic State University and a Montessori Teaching Credential in early childhood education, but it would be crazy to say that is where I learned to be an educator. That knowledge came from ten years as a Montessori teacher, and three as a school Director. That is where I grew and gained experience, began to understand that a great teacher is always learning, and discovered a passion for the youngest of learners.
I am thrilled for the opportunity to continue my journey as Director at Mom’s ICC and work with families and staff to provide a safe and loving environment for your little one.
Natalie Robinson – Site Supervisor & Toddler Teacher
I was born and raised right here in Santa Barbara, California. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California (UCSB), as well as a Child Development Site Supervisor’s Permit. I started working for Transition House, here in the Infant Care Center, right after I graduated from UCSB in 2012. Mom’s ICC is a wonderful place, and I am so proud to be part of such a great team! Children are amazing, they can teach us a lot! I truly enjoy learning and growing with the wonderful children that attend school here! Welcome to the Mom’s ICC family!

I attended Santa Barbara City College where I obtained an ECE certificate. Working with young children is my passion. I enjoy seeing how they develop and how they are always ready to learn! As an Infant teacher i have learned that I am here to help parents raise healthy minds. I am proud to be part of this organization and I look forward to growing together as a family!
Dulce Ramos – Toddler Teacher
I have been working here, at Mom’s Infant Care center, since 2013. Over the years, I have accrued a plethora of Early Childhood Education Courses and trainings that enrich my career, as well as my person. What drives me as a caregiver is the opportunity to be a positive factor in these young and developing minds and working together with families to best aid in this healthy growth. I am honored to be part of the Transition House staff and am very pleased to serve all the families that we get to partner with. Thank you for your time and efforts as we do appreciate you!
Amy Guo – Afternoon Rover Teacher
I was raised in China and had been an accountant for some years before I came to America. When I became a mother, I found enjoyment in working with children. I then obtained my ECE teacher’s certificate from Santa Barbara City College in 2016. Through my teaching experience at the SBCC Orfalea Center, I have developed my expertise in using positive ECE language and setting guidance limits for young children ages 1-5. Being a rover teacher here at Mom’s ICC gives me the opportunity to utilize my teaching skills with different age groups of children. I am looking forward to providing the best possible care for your children.
Donna Cometa – Morning Rover Teacher
Hello! I have worked with children in multiple different centers, private schools, tutored young children and worked as a home school preschool teacher and sitter. I am currently studying early childhood education. Not only do I work with children, but also have a certificate in massage and I am finishing up courses to be a state licensed massage therapist. I like sometimes to use the knowledge of Chinese medicine I have gained to help the children I work with. I have many hobbies some of which are reading, writing my own little stories, taking martial arts classes, playing with my dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
Jade Ojeda – Infant Teacher Aide
Hello Families! I look forward to working with you all! Fresh out of high school, I did not know what I wanted my major to be in college, let alone what I wanted to do for the rest of my life for a career. After a few years of working various jobs, I became an assistant at Girls Inc. where I was taken back by how fun and rewarding it was to work with children and watch them learn and grow before my eyes. Ever since then, I knew working with children was what I was meant to do! I am currently attending Santa Barbara City College on my way to earning an Associates in Early Childhood Education!
