Because of the generosity of the community, Transition House is able to transform the lives of thousands of local families. We are dedicated to solving family homelessness in the Santa Barbara area, one family at a time.

Ways to Give

Amazon Wish List – Our Amazon Wish List is available all year with items we need in our shelter, our Infant Care Center, and other areas of the program. Click here to view our current list.

Checks – Make checks payable to Transition House, enclose a note or indicate on the check memo line any special designations and mail to Transition House, 425 E. Cota Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.

Credit Cards – Make your donation securely online or call Gina Whitefoot, Associate Director at (805) 966-9668 ext. 120. We will gladly take your credit card information by phone. Please do not email or fax your credit card information.

Stocks/Securities – Donating securities that have gained value while you’ve owned them is a wonderful way to invest in our mission to solve local family homelessness. To learn more, visit our page on donating stocks/securities.

Matching Gifts – If you or your spouse are affiliated with an organization that will match charitable gifts, please forward the matching gift form (obtained from the organization’s personnel office) along with your gift to Transition House. Donate A Car – The CARS Vehicle Donation Program is designed to support nonprofits of every size and shape, including national nonprofits with regional chapters, single foundation organizations, and locally-based charities.
