Ways to Give
Amazon Wish List – Our Amazon list is up all year with items we need in our shelter, our Infant Care Center, and other areas of the program. To view our Amazon wish list click here.
Checks – Make checks payable to Transition House, enclose a note or indicate on the check memo line any special designations and mail to Transition House, 425 E. Cota Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
Credit Cards – Make your donation securely online or call Gina Whitefoot, Associate Director at (805) 966-9668 ext. 120. We will gladly take your credit card information by phone. Please do not email or fax your credit card information.
Stocks/Securities – Donating securities that have gained value while you’ve owned them is a wonderful way to invest in our mission to solve local family homelessness. To learn more, visit our page on donating stocks/securities.
Planned Gifts – Donors can leave a legacy of giving to Transition House and ensure that families experiencing homelessness find their way home – today and tomorrow. Visit The Léni Fé Bland Transition House Tomorrow Fund to learn more.
Matching Gifts – If you or your spouse are affiliated with an organization that will match charitable gifts, please forward the matching gift form (obtained from the organization’s personnel office) along with your gift to Transition House. Forms can be sent by mail Transition House, Attn: Gina Whitefoot, 425 E. Cota Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 or via email by clicking here.
Help-a-Kid No-Ball – The Annual Help-a-Kid No-Ball is a non-event fundraiser. We save our “guests” and our agency both time and money by not going through the significant work of hosting an extravagant event. All proceeds go directly to helping children living at Transition House’s family shelter. Ways to donate.
Donate A Car – The CARS Vehicle Donation Program is designed to support nonprofits of every size and shape, including national nonprofits with regional chapters, single foundation organizations, and locally-based charities. If you are interested in donating your vehicle to Transition House, visit CARS.
